The CBC Diversity Initiative promotes an inclusive and representative children’s publishing industry through interactive programming for member publisher staff of CBC member publishers and content on its blog. CBC Kids Movies

Over the last several years, CBC Kids has expanded its streaming service CBC Gem to over 200 hours of Canadian content, including comedy and social awareness programming that makes children laugh, think and feel.

CBC says its focus is partnering with producers and creators to tell Canadian stories that engage audiences, such as new series like ENDLINGS (12 x 30; Sinking Ship Entertainment for CBC/Radio-Canada, Hulu, WGBH, NDR, ABC Australia and Universal Kids US), or MOLLY OF DENALI (10 x two-minute episodes; Atomic Cartoons for CBC Kids, WGBH and PBS) which showcase Indigenous storytelling perspectives and highlights Indigenous storytelling techniques.
