Isis Fashion Awards Celebrates Innovation and Creativity in Fashion

Designers whose collections have made an outstanding, impactful statement about innovation and creativity in fashion were honored this year.

According to Jan-Willem Breure, accessory designers often play second fiddle to clothing designers for attention and recognition. He notes that most accessory designers fail to gain significant notoriety or fame from this niche industry.

Jan-Willem Breure, the founder of ISIS Fashion Awards, believes accessory designers often go unnoticed due to clothing designers attracting most of the spotlight. For this show solely dedicated to accessories, he is hosting 12 items such as shoes, bags, glasses, jewelry, watches, stocking socks, gloves, scarves, belts, and hats to showcase. Additionally, the event will host red-carpet interviews and fashion shows as part of this inaugural event.

The event will take place at London’s Royal Albert Hall – the heart of fashion creativity – with global leaders coming together at this ceremony to recognize leaders of change and celebrate excellence in creativity. Furthermore, proceeds raised at this event support future talent through education grants, business mentoring programs, and business mentoring services provided by the BFC Foundation.

In this year’s edition, an unprecedented number of designers were nominated for this award, from established fashion houses to young talents creating new trends. The winner will receive a prize of EUR 30,000 and assistance in developing their collections with experts from DEFI.

This year’s winners include Satoshi Kuwata of Setchu, which bridges East and West; Julie Pelipas of Better Repurposing Dead Stock into apparel designs; and Luca Magliano from Magliano, which focuses on transformation.
