After a zombie apocalypse has devastated humanity, survivors scrabble for survival amid rotting corpses and blood-drinking zombies who have almost exterminated all humankind. To pass the time, they indulge in controversial gladiator games using zombie fighters without realizing their master’s sinister game is being played out behind closed doors.
Sartoris awakens in an escape pod after being pulled from a Star Destroyer’s tractor beam, only to discover he is inside an abandoned X-wing and hearing blaster fire outside. Kale, whom Sartoris addressed as Mister in the previous episode, rescues him and tells him of Charlotte being their most significant threat and wants her dead as soon as possible.
Once Kale and Sartoris return to the hangar, they hear an unfamiliar sound from the turbo-lift. When they open it, a wave of zombies descends.
